The Ink Blog

This was a site that I discovered awhile ago. I thought that I had done a review on it and I could not find it when I went back to look. This was one of my favorites. She keeps the mood upbeat, offers suggestions and tips, and categories on all of the posts she has done. It was very easy to navigate through and well written. She adds tons of photos which is very helpful for me since I am a visual person. If I can see in a picture how a technique is presented, I can usually figure out how it was done on my own. There are days when I just love being creative! Check out Nicole's Ink Blog for some great things!

nuttnhoney blog

I found this blog, quite by accident, but I loved it. She goes into deatil on what products she used and shows pictures of her great work.

I loved how she had a slide of her work off to the side. It takes up less blogging space and shows her wonderful detailed work.

She also has this link on her page with an alphabatized list of techniques she has found on the web. I don't have the time to check out all of them now, but I have added it to my blog roll in the hopes that you will enjoy it.

I also saw that she had a card archive with her work alphabatized by stamp sets. What a great idea! I would love to add this to my blog after seeing how neat and organized it was. You can check out her card selections here.

I will definetley come back to this site!

Craft tv weekly

So I had some time to check out some of the links that I found this morning and was pleasantly surprised with Craft TV weekly. It had many new ideas and video showing how to put it together as well as printable downloads for design guides. There is an archive for finding older projects and video. What a great tool to have for new ideas! I watched the video for a name badge album. At first I was thinking that it was just another book to make, but it sparked an interest for me because the video was on making it and how she was going to send the book to a family member stationed in Iraq. I have family stationed there and thought it would be great to go home this weekend and take pictures of my 2 year old cousin and her mom with grandma(s) and grandpa(s) and send it to him to cheer up his days a little. I am so glad that I stumbled across this site. You do need to sign up for the page, but it is free and only takes a minute. Be sure to check it out!

Addicted to Rubber Stamps

I had some spare time this afternoon and started browsing some of the links I added to my blog roll. I chose Addicted to rubber stamps in the hope that it was a blog site. When I opened the page I saw that it was a website that many companies use to promote their products. There are several ways they have organized the page. You can find companies under accessories, companies or Artist lines. They all provide a way to purchase products you like by link which is nice for those who do not have access to a metropolitan area with many scrapbooking stores or for those who do not like having a party or joining a club.

It also features a NEW section that all new products are advertised on. They have broken it down to Accessories with new products, companies with new products and brands with new products. Once you choose a category it is further broken down into several smaller sub categories.

They also feature a SALE section that is broken down into smaller sub categories as well.

I found the site to be a good tool for items that my company does not offer. I can spend even more of my husbands hard earned money... Just kidding, I have been cut off from spending. All in all I found this site to be something that I will use in the future.

Wow!

So my two year old is nestled in with his dad watching Over the Hedge and I have some more time to work on my class project. I was wandering through the Stamping Mad blog and was intrigued by her blog enteries. She leaves the entries short, but has a lot to say. She links to other sites frequently which is nice because some of her blog enteries are on stamping methods she has found with directions on other sites. See her article on Wedding favors and then check out Wedding Bee. It seems to be updated quite often and has a lot on her blogroll to check out. I will be back to her site to check out what she adds.

Blogging on Sarah and the Stampstars

In my search for links to add to my stamping blogroll, I came across this one. After reviewing Sarah and the Stampstars I came to the conclusion that she is a craft lover as I am. We have a few things in common. We are both Stampin' Demonstrators, mothers and we have understanding husbands. Her blog enteries consist of her handmade work such as cards or even fun sushi ideas for toddlers. Her enteries are short but very to the point and easy to read. She also offers links to other sites that she has come across. I will look forward to seeing more of her blog...
