Marbling technique

As you can see in the calendar area and background area there are streaks of ink. To do a marbling project you will need an empty closeable stamp container, a couple of marbles and bottles of ink.

Step 1

Drop a few dots of each color of ink around the bottom of the stamp container.

Add in the marbles

Step 3

Put the cardstock facing down to cover the opening of the stamp container.

Step 4

Close the top of the container lightly. Make sure not to close tightly as this will crease your cardstock.

Step 5

Shake the continer back and forth. Make sure you do not turn the container upside down. This will cause the ink to make big blotches. Continue to shake until the surface you want to have the marble effect is covered with the "Streaks". You may have to adjust the paper to get all of it covered.

Step 6

Remove paper and allow some dry time. Add embellishments and you are all set!
