The Finale!

So for my last blog, I wanted to find something a little different than the other two. This dog blog is more of a filter site. It has many links to the actual articles, but also gives you information on it and some quotes from the articles themselves. It offers a gigantic list of links to other interesting animal blogs in the sidebar. I think that the main focus is on great pets and or great pet owners. There are some entries that tend to be more of the blog style but I think it is geared more towards articles found on these great dogs/owners or just heroic people saving pets lives.

This is still a working site, the last post being today. There is a very large section of categories in the sidebar as well. It seems that this site has been up for awhile. There are so many categories such as Sunbear Squad watch tips of the week, Health warnings, puppy mills, tearjerkers, guide and service dogs, rescue groups and information,working dogs, events, and the list goes on and on. They really seem to cover all of the bases when it comes to information sharing.

I found this in the watch tips, I think that after reading some of these, it opened my eyes up to a different aspect of being a dog lover. I find that people become desensitized to what really goes on. We are so absorbed in our lives that we forget about our furry friends and just how many are not being taken care of. I also found fun articles, sad articles, Depressing thought articles, and happy articles.

I think this site is part filter, part blog, personal yet educational, and the purpose is to have something different than the other sites offer. They seem to check out several sources when they are posting to give us more information. I really enjoyed this site and linking to the others they provided for me. It seems to have more than one author, but it is fun to go through. If you are an animal lover, definatley check out this site!
