Attempting creative writing

So here I am, my house is quiet, my two year old is sound asleep finally, I still have no running water when I am disturbed by my phone ringing once again. Yes, it is my husband calling for the umpteenth time wondering if the water has miraculously come on again in the three hours since he has left. So I crack open my laptop in the hopes that I can still finish my last assignment even though I can't be in class tomorrow. So I started to read another students blog, and was inspired by it. I love the randomness of http://tastyappletreats.blogspot.com/. I feel like I am not the only one with the crazy life out there. I can relate to what she is saying, she is way better at the creativity. I suppose that comes with time, it sounded like she had been at this for a few years compared to my two short weeks at this blogging game.

So I started to check some of my other classmates blogs and again I am in agreement that we are all alike on some level. I find it interesting that I know virtually no one on campus as I am a new student this semester hailing from the twin cities, but for some reason I am drawn to the notebook style blogs. Maybe it is because I find them more involved than just a small blurb or a link to find more info. I have little time as it is for the research I do in 6 classes, and yet, here I sit at 10:30 blogging away. I tend to keep reading when something peaks my interest.. Did I say that right? Anyway I took a look at http://katherinegrand.blogspot.com/ and loved the piece about Reece's Peanut butter cups....

So I was randomly picking the three blogs to blog on and two of them had the same format as mine. I feel way better... Yes I think we are all girls too. Our back ground is pink..... So my final pick of the night is http://rarejewelsblog.blogspot.com/. Loved the bit about the first hangover! On my 21st birthday, I was so intoxicated , (10 shots and a few very large drinks later) that I spent most of the evening praying to the porcelain gods, breaking 5 blood vessels in my eye and all of them in my face( I actually went to the doctor...) When my world stopped spinning momentarily, my dad called and asked me to come and pick up my two year old..... He was part of the conspiracy the night before at the bar feeding me shots... He thought it was quite amusing that I was hungover for a good three days. I don't think I drank for a year after that...... OK way off track, her story reminded me of mine.
